A midweek sanctuary of home-made cakes, coffee, conversation, crosswords, classical music, and the occasional appearance of ‘Coxy’ himself, behind the counter serving food, drink and a slice of his own humour.
The accessible, safe and welcoming cafe space in the ground floor of Immanuel Baptist Church provides an ideal setting for a mid-week catch up, where local residents share stories and latest news, take part in activities including puzzles and sewing, and generally relax and have fun.
The Community Cafe is for members of the local community whether in later years but young in heart, or young in body, disabled, families, or bereaved and carers, including those benefiting from other Spirit in Sport and Spirit in the Community initiatives.
Come in and just us for a cuppa and a catch up…
